Funeral Service for Eileen Gordon – Piggott

Let us prayerfully remember the colleagues and extended family of the late Eileen Gordon – Piggott. Note that Mrs. Piggott’s funeral service will be held; Date: Saturday January 14, 2017. Time: Service begins at 10am. Location: The Wesley Methodist Church, Main St. Brown’s Town. WOGA has arranged for a bus to transport persons wishing to attend the funeral. The bus will leave Webster United Church – Halfway Tree Road at 7:00am for Brown’s Town. Cost per person will be $1250 RSVP Necessary!

WESTERN BUREAU: It was a time of reflection at Westwood High School in Stewart Town, Trelawny, last Saturday, as the school’s Class of 1971 returned to the institution to reminisce and renew old acquaintances. In addition to reminiscing on the wonderful memories they still cherish in their time at their all-female alma mater, the class, which is made up of 22 women, also made a special cheque presentation to the 134-year-old boarding institution. The program pairs an old girl with a grade 11 student each year and has been very successful to date.
