With a forecast of possible scattered showers, we set out to the park hopeful for a good day. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans and after setting up we had no choice but to move the event to Toma-tis Restaurant, 3 mins away. Over 30 awesome guests joined us as we had a fun Jamaican umbrella party. With authentic seasoned jerk chicken on the drum pan grill, refreshing natural juices, spicy escovitch fish, finger licking pasta salad, roasted corn + more, good reggae music and happy sisters with their families – the ‘vibes’ was perfect! Not to mention the Anansi story time, raffle and prizes. We truly enjoyed the afternoon and no one cared about the rain.
