Firstly I would like to thank all mentees and mentors of the 2015/2016 mentorship programme, you have all assisted in making the past year a success.
The closing ceremony was held at the Westwood High School’s William Webb Auditorium on May 14, 2016 with most mentees and a few mentors in attendance. The ceremony was concise and piquant as the aim was to compensate the students for the cancelled mentorship trip.

Our guest speaker, Daneille Clarke, an old girl of the class of 2007 was nothing less than inspirational and kept it frank with the students. Encouraging them to remain passionate and focused even when life does not follow their personal future plans.
Majority of the program was carried out by the students to keep them involved (MC, vote of thanks, message from WOGA, message from mentees and item from mentees).
After the formalities of the program there was a game session for both mentees and mentors which included scavenger hunt, crossword puzzle, musical chair etc). The mentees were served goodies after the game session which included, cake, donuts, ice pops, snacks etc while mingling with the mentors who were in attendance. It is sufficient to say that the students enjoyed the day. In closing I would like to invite all past students to be a part of the fun for the next Mentorship Programme 2016/2017.
